Assessing the evidence: systematic reviews in transplantation
Description:
Keeping up with the expanding transplant literature is increasingly challenging. Systematic reviews and meta-analyses provide a method to evaluate the best evidence to address clinical questions in an unbiased fashion. In this interactive workshop, we will demonstrate the stages of a systematic review, explaining the methodology and potential pitfalls along the way.

Statistics for Non-statisticians
Description:
In the field of transplantation, clinicians and researchers frequently encounter statistical analyses in research papers, clinical trials, and registry reports. However, many professionals lack formal training in statistics, making it challenging to critically assess findings, choose appropriate methods for their own research, or recognise common misinterpretations of data.

Qualitative Research: Methods for a Person-centered Approach
Description:Why should you bother with qualitative research methods? Aren’t p-values enough? Why not challenge yourself with a different approach to knowledge and understanding of human behavior by attending this workshop on qualitative and mixed methods research? Qualitative research provides an opportunity to gain access to the inside perspective on health and quality of life before and after transplantation, as it demands a new ontological point of departure when discussing transplant care.
