    • The educational conversation - How to reach a mutual understanding

      Anna Forsberg, Lund University, Sweden

    • Introduction
      This lecture by Professor Anna Forsberg outlines different educational traditions that have been used in health care and discusses preferred traditions for establishing a mutual understanding between the patient and the HCP. Different learning styles among organ recipients will be presented in relation to graft rejection. Finally, the essential steps in an educational conversation will be presented in order to promote the patient’s learning process when supporting coherence and adaptation after transplantation.
